Oregon does not charge a real estate transfer tax.

Oregon bans transfer taxes. Only Washington County, which had one before the 1997 ban, still charges anything.

Washington County (Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard) charges $1 per $1,000, which is 0.1 percent. Portland, Salem, Eugene and everywhere else charge nothing.
